SGSL Launches Loan , Welfare Scheme for Artisans ,Traders In Ogun

Artisans And Traders In Ogun State Now Have Access To Loans And Welfare Benefits Through The Newly Launched Shared And Personal Asset Benefit Scheme (SPABS), An Initiative By Self-Employee Global Services Limited (SGSL). 

The Program Aimed To Empower Small Business Owners With Capacity-Building Opportunities, Retirement Plans, And Financial Support.

The Scheme, Inaugurated On Friday In Abeokuta, Is Monitored By The Small And Medium Enterprises Development Agency Of Nigeria (SMEDAN) And The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF). It Offers Participants An Employee Compensation Scheme From NSITF, Pension Funds, And A Retirement Plan.

Speaking At The Launch, Chief Joju Fadairo, Chairman Of SGSL, Emphasized The Importance Of SPABS In Supporting Traders And Artisans.

 He Assured Participants That The Initiative Provides Both Immediate And Long-Term Benefits, Including Loans To Expand Their Businesses And Retirement Savings For Future Financial Security.

“The Essence Of This Scheme Is To Help Traders And Artisans Access Loans To Boost Their Businesses While Also Securing A Source Of Funds For Compensation And Retirement Benefits,” Chief Fadairo Said. 

“I Encourage Everyone To Participate In This Program. The Benefits Are Immense, And They Will Not Regret It.”

Speaking With Newsmen, Atenipase Sonde, Executive Director Of Operations At SGSL, Highlighted The Platform’s Welfare And Job Creation Components. 

He Explained That Registration Provides Access To Job Opportunities, Capacity-Building Plans, And Financial Services Under The Pension Act, Which Includes Micro-Pension Schemes.

“Our Platform Offers Well-Paying Jobs, Allowing Artisans And Traders To Contribute To A Micro-Pension Scheme. Registration Is Open To Everyone, Regardless Of Age,” Sonde Noted.

He Added, “There Are Unlimited Benefits And Access To All Our Collaborating Administrators, Including The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) And Small Medium Enterprise Development Agency Of Nigeria (SMEDAN). They Monitor Our Scheme And Development Assessment.

“We Offer An Employee Compensation Scheme From NSITF, Pension Funds, And A Retirement Plan For Traders And Artisans On Our SPAB Welfare Digital Platform.

“Registration On Our Platform Provides A Complete Welfare Registration, Including Job Applications. We Have Four Categories: Food Soldiers (Non-Commissioned), Commissioned Staff, And Managers.

“Food Soldiers Handle Daily Interactions With Traders And Artisans. Managers Oversee 40 Food Soldiers. Food Soldiers Earn At Least ₦40,000 Weekly.

While Contributing, We Upgrade You To Access Our Capacity-Building Plan.”

He Added, “This Is The First Initiative Of Its Kind From Our Management, NSITF, SMEDAN, And Pension Fund Administrators, Coordinating Benefits For Traders And Artisans.”
