As Nigerians Joins Rest Of The World To Commemorate The 2024 International Day Of The Girl-Child, The Aegis Of The Positivity Friends Foundation (Tpff) Led By Its Chief Executive Officer, Adeyemi Samuel Adeleke Has Organized A Quiz With Participation From Eight Selected Schools In Abeokuta South Local Government Area Of Ogun State Where Participated Schools And Students Won Lots Of Prizes.
According To The Foundation, “Participants In The Quiz, Which Composed Of School Girls From Ss1 To Ss 3, Classes Of Which Two From Science And Two From Arts Subjects; English Language, Civic Education, Christian Religious Knowledge, Current Affairs, Physics, Chemistry, Agric Science And Mathematics Were Given Text Books And 20 Thousand Naira To The Winner Of The Outcome Of The Competition.
The Vice President And The Chairman Of Welfarism Unit ,Esse Aigbologa Told Naija News Box Correspondent That Government Secondary School, Ishibori, Ogoja; Holy Child Secondary School And Royal International School, Took 1st, 2nd And 3rd Positions Respectively, While Igbeku Comp Secondary School, Klinicapps Academy; Mathias Offorboche Secondary School Okuku And St. Joseph Orphanage School Got Consolation Prizes.
However, The Treasure And Head Of The Admin Of The Group Foundation, Ayisat Adetutu Olaide Alongside The Secretary, Prisca Akinwunmi, The Trustee, Olamide Oladokun Jointly Revealed That The Positivity Friends Foundation, Over The Years Has Carried Out Numerous Pet Projects To Give The Girl Child The Life She Deserves And This Year Is Not An Exception.
The Foundation Therefore Maintained That The Day With The Theme ‘Girls’ Vision For The Future’ Creates A Platform That Gives Attention To Recognizes Their Rights, Values And Unique Challenges A Girl-Child Faces Around The World, And Additionally, “It Is An Opportunity To Create Awareness And Eliminate Gender Based Challenges”.
Meanwhile, The Positivity Friends Foundation, Which Is A Nongovernmental Organization Established In June, 2024, Focused On Creating Awareness On Girl-Child Issues, Protection Of The Rights Of Girls, And Advancing Support For Both Genders And Widows Across The State.
