Governor Abiodun Declares November 15 Work-Free Day Ahead Of Local Government Elections

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun Has Declared Friday, 15th Of November, 2024 As A Work-Free Day For All Civil Servants In The State.

State Head Of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, Who Confirmed This To Journalists, Said Governor Abiodun Approved The Work-Free Day In Order To Enable Civil Servants To Participate Fully In The Forthcoming Local Government Elections, Scheduled To Hold Across The State’s 20 Local Governments And 236 Wards This Saturday, 16th Of November, 2024.

Onasanya Stated That The Work-Free Day Aims Is To Ensure Active Participation In The Electoral Process, Allowing Citizens To Exercise Their Civic Duties Without Hindrance.

However, This Move Demonstrates Governor Abiodun’s Commitment To Promoting Democratic Participation And Civic Engagement In Ogun State.
