16 Days Of Activism: Positivity Friends Foundation Urges State, Federal Government, Women Affairs To Reaffirms Commitment To End Discrimination Against Women

As The World Celebrate The International Day For The Elimination Of Violence Against Women Today, A Non-Governmental Organization, A Foundation Of Young Nigerians, Under The Aegis Of The Positivity Friends Foundation (Tpff) Led By Its Chief Executive Officer, Adeyemi Samuel Adeleke Has Stand  In Solidarity With Women Across The World, Who Have Endured The Scourge Of Violence, Discrimination And Injustice.

Founder Of The Foundation, Mr Adeyemi Adeleke Made This Known This Afternoon, Monday, 25th Of November, 2024, through the Secretary of the Foundation, Prisca Akinwunmi At An Outreach Programme Held In Abeokuta, Ogun State, Stating That This Day Serves As A  Reminder Of The Urgent Need To Address The Pervasive Issue Of Gender-Based Violence That Continues To Plague Our Society.

Adeleke Also Stressed That It Is Essential For Nigerian  Leaders To Prioritize The Protection Of Women And Girls To Enact And Enforce Laws That Hold Perpetrators Accountable And Provide Adequate Support And Resources For Survivors.

According To The Founder, Women Have Suffered In Silence, Their Voices Stifled By Fear And Oppression, Said The Time Has Come For Women To Break The Cycle Of Violence And Injustice, To Stand Up And Speak Out For Those Who Have Been Voiceless For Far Too Long.

He Therefore Admonished Women In Our Communities, Not To Suffer In Silence, Rather, They Should Speak Out And Seek Help If They’re Experiencing Any Form Of Violence Or Abuse, As Their Voices Are Powerful.
